Protesters hold a rally in front of Dhaka University's Raju Sculpture on Thursday, Jan 16, 2025, under the banner of 'Agitated Adivasi Students' in response to the attack on students who took to the streets to protest the removal of imagery with the word 'Adivasi' from ninth and tenth grade textbooks. When the protesters tried to move towards the Secretariat from there, police used water cannons and batons to disperse the crowd in front of the Shikkha Bhaban.
