A mild to moderate heat wave has been sweeping across several districts of Bangladesh over the past few days. Dhaka residents are struggling with the intense heat which gets sweltering due to the blazing sun as the day progresses. Those who must work outdoors, including rickshaw and van drivers, low-income earners, and labourers, are particularly affected.
