Zillur Rahman from Rajbari saw others farming foreign grape varieties on YouTube and decided to give it a try himself. He cultivated a variety of Russian grapes on 16 decimals of land eight months ago and now has reaped a good harvest.
Clusters of grapes hang from the vines in a vineyard in Shobharampur, on the outskirts of Faridpur. A young entrepreneur, Ahmed Fazle Rabbi, along with others, drew good yields cultivating this fruit.
