Vaisu festival begins

Vaisu, the biggest social event of the Tripura community, begins in Khagrachhari with the worshipping of Goddess Ganga. During this new year festival, the ethnic group observes three days known as Hari Vaisu, Vaisu Ma, and Bisikatal.
