Long queues for diesel amid blackout

People wait in long queues for diesel at the refuelling stations in Dhaka on Tuesday, Oct 4, 2022, as electricity generators in office buildings and homes ran out of fuel during the hours-long power outage, caused by a trip on the national grid transmission lines in the eastern zone. Large swathes of Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions have been affected by the blackout.
