A turntable at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka has been broken for a long time. Such conditions of train lines can cause signal overshooting leading to accidents. Following criticisms over the deadly train crash in Kishoreganj’s Bhairab, the authorities undertook the repair works of the broken turntable at Kamalapur.
