Re-rolling mills

No matter how hot it gets inside, it never interrupts the work at re-rolling mills. The Al-Amin Re-Rolling Mill in the Shyampur area of Dhaka’s Postagola melts old iron and turns it into flat bars. However, the recent energy crisis in Bangladesh means that the factory does not have all the gas that it needs. The impact of rising raw material prices can also be felt. As a result, the Al-Amin Re-Rolling Mill is producing below capacity.

Though the factory can produce 28 tonnes of flat bars a day, it is currently producing only 20 tonnes due to rising raw material costs and limited gas supply.
