Footpath trade signals arrival of winter

Although the Bengali month of Hemanta, the equivalent of late fall, usually brings the first hints of winter chill around this time every year, the weather of Dhaka has yet to see any major changes. But traders on footpaths have already begun to sell winter clothes at the end of the Bengali month of Kartik.
