Half-day strike at petrol pumps

The Bangladesh Petrol Pump and Tanker Owners' Unity Council launched a work stoppage at 6am on Sunday, May 25, 2025, to push for a series of demands, including higher sales commission on fuel. The strike continued until 2pm, though state-run petrol pumps remained open during the period.
