Illegal gas connections in Korail slum

While residents across Dhaka are struggling with gas shortages in their homes, illegal gas connections in the Korail slum keep thousands of stoves running. Not only do households benefit from this illegal supply, but nearby restaurants also depend on it for cooking. Despite occasional efforts by Titas Gas to sever these connections, they are quickly restored within hours.
