Defiant Hizb ut-Tahrir marches on

Law enforcers received word of banned organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir scheduled programme two days in advance. But police failed to prevent the gathering as clashes soon erupted in Baitul Mukarram.

Despite warnings issued two days prior about the programme of the banned organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir, police were unable to stop the procession leaving the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram after Jumma prayers on Friday, Mar 7, 2025. Photo: Mahmud Zaman Ovi
