Trees ‘maimed’ for new road median

Dhaka South City Corporation workers have cut off branches of trees on the old median of Saat Masjid Road in Dhaka to construct a new median, effectively leaving the tree trunks to die. The felling of trees has been conducted in several phases since the beginning of May.
