Are loudspeakers a relic of elections past?

In the past, loudspeakers and microphones were an integral part of election campaigning. As time passed, the use of loudspeakers in election campaigns dropped significantly. Although the campaign stage of the 12th general election is underway, speaker factories, sale centres, and rental shops in Dhaka have seen no uptick in business.
