Birds bath to cool down

Monsoon has not brought much rain to Bangladesh this year, making the arrival of autumn hotter than usual. The mercury in the hills has risen to around 35 degrees Celsius amid a heat wave. The heat becomes unbearable for the animals as well at midday. Birds are soaking themselves in puddles on the roads in Khagrachhari. Photo: Samir Mallik
