Le Méridien Dhaka has introduced a new themed brunch experience curated by native Italian chef Cristiano Marrosu, aptly named Cristiano’s Italian Brunch.
The offering reflects his culinary heritage and expertise, keeping up with the trendy ambiance and influenced by the authentic taste, a media statement read on Saturday.
The launch event was graced by HE Antonio Alessandro, alongside esteemed guests, media representatives, and influencers, who were warmly welcomed to indulge in the rich aromas of Italy and immerse themselves in the elegant décor.
According to the statement, Cristiano’s Italian Brunch is a flavourful journey of Italy to relish the exotic taste of Pesce alla Palermitana fish (Palermo-style fish), Risotto ai frutti di mare (Seafood Risotto), Straccetti alla veneziana (Beef Strips venetian style), Pollo Alla Romana (Chicken Stew with Bell Pepper), Parmigiana Di Melanzane (Eggplant Parmigiana) and more. The recipes are inspired from Milan, Rome, Venezia, Sicily.
Constantinos S Gavriel, general manager of Le Meridien Dhaka, was quoted as saying: “We are thrilled to bring our guests a slice of Italy right here in Dhaka, where tradition meets innovation in every dish. Chef Cristiano, who has been with us for nearly two years, leads our fine-dining Italian restaurant, Favola. His exceptional culinary skills and mastery of Italian cuisine have consistently captivated our guests. Inspired by his talent, we decided to introduce a themed brunch at our signature buffet restaurant, Latest Recipe.”
The statement added that this brunch aims to offer a relaxed yet refined dining experience appealing for every audience. From a vibrant risotto section and live cooking stations to a pasta corner, artisanal pizzas, and indulgent desserts there is something to delight every palate.
This brunch is priced at Tk 6999 per person along with B1G1 and B1G2 offers on selective bank cards, it added. Additionally, a special family package is offered at Tk 9,900 for four guests.
Reservation is prior required to experience the authentic taste of Italy at Cristiano’s Italian Brunch, it concluded.
