The interim government is keeping the prices of all types of fuel oil the same as a month ago.

All types of fuel oil, including diesel and kerosene, will be sold at the current March price in April.

The rates remained unchanged in March as part of the fuel price adjustment measures, according to an announcement made by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday.

The price of diesel and kerosene currently stands at Tk 105 per litre, octane at Tk 126, and petrol at Tk 122.

Earlier, on the first day of February, diesel and kerosene prices were increased by Tk 1 from Tk 104 to Tk 105 per litre, alongside octan and petrol.

Octane had been priced at Tk 122 per litre and diesel at Tk 126 per litre.

After taking charge following the Awami League government's fall, the interim administration first adjusted fuel oil prices on Aug 31, 2024.
