HSC, equivalent exams success rate at 74.70%

SSC, HSC marks will also be published along with grade points

848 colleges achieve 100 percent success rate

The government introduced grade-point system for the HSC tests in 2003, abolishing the system to give the students tabulation sheets.

“The students will be able to see their subject-wise marks in written, MCQ and practical tests on our website from today (Thursday). They will also be able to download them,” Inter-Board Coordination Sub-Committee President Mahbubur Rahman told bdnews24.com.

The address of the website for HSC results in details is http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/regular/index.php

The academic transcript to be provided by the education boards, however, will include only the total marks along with the subject-wise grade points. No details will be provided.

A total of 74.79 percent students have cleared this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 58,276 have scored GPA-5.

The students are getting the opportunity to see their marks after 13 years following a High Court order on a writ petition filed by a student.

The students who have sat this year’s SSC and equivalent tests are not getting the opportunity.

“The marks in all tests of the SSC and HSC certificates will be published from next year,” Mahbubur said.
