Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has stressed the importance of maintaining a stable security environment across the country during a high-level meeting on law and order held at the State Guest House Jamuna.
According to a report by the state-run Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the meeting reviewed the overall security situation nationwide.
Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, deputy press secretary to the chief advisor, said senior officials of the security forces presented detailed assessments during the session.
Yunus underscored the need to ensure continued stability in the capital and other regions, and commended the recent actions taken by security forces in response to key incidents.
The meeting was attended by Home Advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Foreign Advisor Md Touhid Hossain, and National Security Advisor Khalilur Rahman.
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, and Air Force Chief Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan were also present.
