A total of 6,558 candidates have passed the written examination of the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam, held around one and a half years ago.
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) released the results on Wednesday night.
PSC spokeperson SM Matiur Rahman confirmed the development to bdnews24.com.
The complete results and related information are available on the PSC website at www.bpsc.gov.bd, the commission said in a media statement.
It added that the written examinations of the 45th BCS were held from Jan 23 to Jan 31, 2024, in Dhaka and seven other divisional cities.
Those who cleared the exam have been declared provisionally qualified with the commission’s approval.
“The commission reserves the right to amend the published results if necessary for valid reasons,” the statement read.
The 45th BCS circular was published on Nov 30, 2022.
The preliminary exam was held on May 19, 2023, with 268,119 candidates appearing.
Out of those, 12,789 candidates passed the preliminary test and sat for the written exam last January.
