The Ministry of Home Affairs has reshuffled four police officials at the deputy inspector general and additional deputy inspector general level on the first day after the end of the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

The Public Security Division of the ministry issued a notice on the decision on Sunday.

The notice said that Range Reserve Force (RRF) Commandant Ali Akbar Khan, Chattogram Armed Police Battalion Captain Mohammad Shamsul Haque and Dhaka Armed Police Battalion’s Nazrul Islam have been reassigned to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

CID Additional DIG Rumana Akhtar has been reassigned as commandant of the Dhaka RRF.

Government institutions were closed for a 10-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha from Jun 5 to Jun 14 this year.
