Airbus Executive Vice President (EVP) Wouter Van Wersch has met Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus on the first day of his official visit to the United Kingdom.
The meeting took place on Tuesday at The Dorchester hotel in London, where the interim prime minister is staying during his four-day visit, according to the state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
Yunus arrived at London's Heathrow Airport at 7:05am local time and headed straight to The Dorchester on Park Lane.
Later in the day, the senior executive of the France-based European aircraft manufacturer visited him at the hotel.
Airbus has been pushing to sell aircraft to the state-run Biman Bangladesh Airlines since the tenure of the ousted Awami League government.
