President Mohammed Shahabuddin has exchanged Eid-ul-Azha greetings with Army chief Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman when the latter went to see the titular head of state.
Gen Waker, alongside his wife, met Shahabuddin on a courtesy call at the Bangabhaban on Saturday evening, according to a post on the Bangladesh Army Facebook page.
“On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, Chief of Army Staff General Wakar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, along with his spouse, paid a courtesy call on with the Hon’ble President Mohammed Shahabuddin today at Bangabhaban,” it read.
“During the meeting, they exchanged Eid greetings and conveyed wishes for mutual well-being.”
Waker also met with Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus earlier on Saturday.
