Four flights land in Chattogram airport instead of Dhaka amid harsh weather

Four flights en route to Dhaka from different places have rerouted to and landed at the Shah Amanat International Airport due to inclement weather.

These jets touched down in Chattogram between 4:30pm and 5:30pm on Saturday.

Shah Amanat International Airport spokesperson Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil told bddnews24.com that these jets will depart for Dhaka after the weather improves.

At 4:33pm, an Air Arabia aircraft from Sharjah landed in Chattogram.

Earlier at 4:32 pm, an Air Astra flight from Cox's Bazar also temporarily landed in Chattogram.

A US Bangla Airlines plane from Rajshahi landed at there 4:47pm, while another from Syedpur touched down in Chattogram at 5:15pm.

No flights have left Shah Amanat Airport as of 7:15pm.
